Churcher's Golf Day 2025

Blue skies and sunshine make this year's Churcher's Golf Day a huge success!

The Churcher's Golf Day in partnership with Analytic Building Contractors, was held on Friday 16 May 2025 in glorious sunshine at Petersfield Golf Club.

A record attendance of 88 golfers ensured a full complement of teams and players on the day including Old Churcherians, Junior and Senior School parents, staff, local businesses and friends. It was fantastic to have such a mix from our community and to see them all coming together to support the event. We greeted old and new players, who enjoyed a round of golf in a relaxed and fun atmosphere whilst raising all important funds for the Richard Churcher Foundation.

The course was in excellent condition and alongside the main four ball competition, our golfers also competed for the Longest Drive sponsored by Alitex, Putting Competition, sponsored by Robison and Nearest the Pin sponsored by Bishops Printers. New to this year's golf day was a sponsored drinks golf buggy which cruised around the green meeting very grateful and thirsty players as they completed their round. The buggy and team polo-shirts were all kindly donated by the headline sponsor of the event, Analytic Building Contractors.

Our brilliant volunteers ensured the teams were kept hydrated at the Halfway Houses with a plethora of drinks and delicious snacks kindly sponsored by Independents by Sodexo. After completing their round, golfers were invited into the clubhouse for drinks and a two course sit down meal, with a raffle and game of 'heads or tails' to round off the evening.

The event raised over £8,000 for the Richard Churcher Foundation and the provision of bursaries. Huge thanks to our sponsors for their valued contribution and to Agilico for the kind donation of raffle items.

Congratulations to all the competition winners as follows..

  • Third Place - won by 'Grip It and Sip It' - Bruce Rendall, Jon Hewett, Jules Porter and Richard Over
