This year's OC Touch Rugby Tournament once again provided a fantastic start to a new season of OC Sport, with five teams battling it out to be crowned 2026 champions.

With perfect playing conditions and a steady supply of food and refreshments to keep everyone going, the teams competed in a round-robin tournament, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd of supporters. Matches were closely fought throughout the afternoon with plenty of impressive skill, teamwork and determination on display across all teams. Most importantly everyone had fun and enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with one another.

There were plenty of tired legs, bruises and a few injuries by the time the final whistle blew. The Class of 2024 battled strongly to retain their title for the third year running but ultimately just fell short, with our most recent leavers, the Class of 2026 finishing top of the pile.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on their success, and thank you to all the teams for supporting the event once again. The more OCs who return to take part in OC Sport, the stronger these events become, and this year’s tournament was a fantastic example of that!

We look forwad to seeing everyone back on the pitch next year!
