In a new initiative for the school, parents were asked to donate any preloved uniform items, suitable for first year new starters to be sold in aid of the Richard Churcher Foundation, which exists to provide bursaries to families whose children would otherwise be unable to benefit from a Churcher's education. On the 11+ induction day over £600 (with a further £100 on Open Day) was raised for the Foundation, with many new and current parents commenting on what a great idea to have the double benefit of a chance to save money and donate to charity at the same time. Hopefully this will be repeated in future years.
We would like to thank all the parents who donated the uniform for sale for their generousity.
