On Sunday 13 June the inaugural Churcher’s College Clay Target Club meeting blasted its way into the skies over Longmoor Ranges.
Cadets from the Upper Sixth Army Section took to the new shooting discipline quickly and accurately, and were soon hitting a variety of targets with a mixture of 12 and 20 gauge shotguns. Whilst all participants shot well, special mention goes to George McCurrach (21) for hitting an impressive 16 of the 20 targets presented to him.
With sun and cartridges aplenty on the day, we look forward to returning to the stands for more shooting next year. If any OCs are interested in forming a team to compete against the College, please get in touch community@churcherscollege.com.
