According to the records, certainly since the early days of the last century if not many decades before that, one of the official duties of the Captains of College is to make an annual pilgrimage to visit the grave of our founder, Richard Churcher, in Funtington to lay a wreath and say “thank you”.
Olivia Knowles and Jonas Flohr were elected by their peers to be Captains of College for 2021/2022 and undertook the honours this year. They were joined by Father Andrew Birks from St Mary’s Church, Funtington.
