OC news |
On Saturday 10 May, whilst the OC Reunion Lunch was taking place, a new dedicated space to showcase the books of Old Churcherian authors and illustrators was opened. The library currently has over 30 books which have been written and / or illustrated by OCs covering topics as far reaching as 'The Business of Sport Management' to 'The story of the National Memorial Arboretum' and 'Ebb and Flow, a guide to seasonal living'.
Alongside David Newns (65), the inspiration behind the library, we were fortunate enough to have three of the authors with us, pictured above holding the books they have written, including Peter Saxton (65), David Childs (65) and John Beech (65).
We are keen to add as many books as possible! If you are an OC who has written or illustrated a book and would like to donate a copy to the Churcher's College Library and to help inspire future generations of authors and illustrators, please contact the Development Office.
