Jon writes: "In 2019 I was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and during 2020/21 wrote 'Flint Wave', a book of poetry with photographs celebrating the South Downs."

Flint Wave is a series of poems and photographs reflecting on the specificity of time and mood, rooted in the landforms and history of the South Downs. An ancient landscape is imagined, connecting with human traces among hill paths, barrows, woodland, shoreline and sea. Past and present interweave in quiet reflection, evoking the ebb and flow of memory of old ways walked.

A donation will be made from the sale of this book to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Registered Charity No 294354.
