On Saturday 7th February, a group of OCs from 2011 gathered together from across the country and even overseas to mark an annual reunion event. Each year in February, the class of 2011 make time from their busy schedules to meet up and have a bit of fun.

Jake Chambers and Bert Green organised this year's event which encompassed a day loosely based around a quiz and games, affectionately known as the Purple Tie Quiz (PTQ). The group celebrated its 15th anniversary of leaving Churchers with a 12th PTQ - the event started in their final year of uni, and the 2020 quiz was cancelled due to Covid. This year's quiz saw 4 teams competing for the top prize - bragging rights for the next year, and the much sought after purple tie for each winner.

The day began with a reunion at Petersfield's 'Spoons', where everyone gathered before teams set off across Petersfield to find points-winning prizes. Following the scavenger-type hunt in town, teams headed up to Churcher's College for the final battle at Ramshill. The winning team included Toby Mason, Matt Pocock, Morty Wale, and a very special guest appearance from George Wilkinson.

Jake says: "We are so grateful to Churchers for hosting our reunion this year - it's always a brilliant day, but having Ramshill as our quiz venue felt like a real homecoming moment for the group, very special!"
