We welcomed six teams to this year's OC Rugby Touch Tournament, held on Saturday 6 September. Kicking off the new academic year, it was fantastic to have representation from a mix of our community - current staff, local charity Maddy's Mark and a handful of recent leavers.

Playing in a round robin format, the matches were fast-paced and fun with both great team work and individual skill on show. With the sun making an appearance and the temperature warming up, energy levels inevitably started to dwindle in the latter stages but it was great to see everyone's competitive spirit remain until the final whistle. A well-deserved BBQ and beers were thoroughly enjoyed by all at the conclusion of the event.

Congratulations to the winners, the Class of 2024, and a huge thank you to the team captains for supporting the event and organising an OC team - Joss Hall (21), Rory Hodges (24) and Archie Rushin (25). Special shout out also to Steve (02) and Jon Roberts (00), for putting their bodies on the line and taking on their younger opponents with gusto!
