On a sunny day in September, 10 Old Churcherians from the Class of 1980 came back to Churcher's for the first time in 13 years, their 40 year reunion delayed due to Covid.
Having reunited, they enjoyed looking at old photos, Churcherians and blue books from their time at school in the Gallery over a cup of coffee. The Development Office then hosted a tour of the school where the OCs reminisced about the Quad, the glider and the outdoor pool. All now gone of course, with new buildings and experiences to be enjoyed by today's pupils.
As one of the group remarked, "It was great to see Churcher's looking so good, and also heartening to see how far it has moved forwards since 1980."
It was fantastic to host the group back at the school and we hope it isn't another 13 years until we see them again! If you would like support in arranging a reunion, whether at Churcher's, in Petersfield, or another location, please contact the Development Office.
