OC Cricket

It was fantastic to welcome back a strong OC team for the annual and highly anticipated cricket match against the 1st XI. The team enjoyed a delicious lunch before heading out to the pitch, fielding first. With support from spectators on both sides, the match was entertaining to watch, with great performances from both teams. With experience on their side it was the Old Churcherians who triumphed again, regaining the trophy for the third year in a row. Well done to all involved!

The OC team... Chris Brophy (07), Seb Herold (VC) (15), Ioe Farrell (15), Seb Head (C) (15), Harry Hedges (11), Chris Locke (11), Ross Kerr (11), Jonty Oliver (22), Seb Royds (22), Ben Crane (17), Ben Kelson (17)

OC Tennis

The inaugural OC Tennis tournament certainly didn't disappoint! The eight OCs, who between them attended the school across three different decades, displayed some excellent tennis with many closely fought games. Particular mention should go to the pairing of George Feeney (22) and George Wilkinson (11) who won all their matches in the round robin tournament. Unfortunately, the school narrowly edged the OC team on points to take home the trophy.

The atmosphere was fun and relaxed and it was fantastic to see so many friends and family come down to support the event. We are keen to grow participation over the coming years so if you would like to be involved next year, please get in touch!

The OC team... Hannah Forrest (11), Matt Hodges (22), James Hill (22), Rich Burton (11), George Wilkinson (11), George Feeney (22), Kalil Bozdag (22), Tim Young (96)
