Careers and mentoring |
On the evening of Thursday 16th March, Churcher's College hosted its fabulous annual Careers Convention.
The Sports Hall was packed with pupils and parents visiting an exhibition with almost 50 companies in attendance, including Old Churcherian Lloyd Pearson (14). Alongside the stands in the hall, we had two sets of talks running concurrently forming our ‘mini-lecture programme’ in the Music Auditorium and Music Classroom in the Goodfield Building. Talks covered the hospitality sector, gaps years, corporate finance, degree apprenticeships, the space industry, marketing and communications, the beauty industry, forestry, the people professions, universities abroad, careers in the arts and careers in fashion.
It was wonderful to see our largest Careers and HE event thriving and bigger than ever; thank you so much to all the amazing exhibitors and speakers for making it happen and such a great success.
We would love for more OCs to support our Careers programme; it provides huge value to the events and is really appreciated by the pupils. Please look out for upcoming events and get involved if you can.
