We want to wish Hannah (11) and Dan a big congratulations for their recent nuptials. We were delighted to hear that they were joined by quite a crowd of Old Churcherian's to celebrate their special day.

Dan and Hannah were married on the 1st July 2023. The service was held in All Saints Church, Headley, in the village where Hannah grew up followed by a reception at Ramster Hall, Chiddingfold, a stunning 16th century hall. It was a beautiful day, full of lots of laughter and love! 

Hannah and Dan were introduced at a summer BBQ over 9 years ago, where many Churcher's friends were in attendance. They now live in South London together; Dan is in the Metropolitan Police and a trained firearms officer. Hannah is a Visual Merchandising Manager for Disney Store Europe and North America, she oversees the store layout and themed installations for our stores in London, Dublin and the US.

Hannah said she felt very lucky to have so many of her Churcher's friends at their wedding. She said she had been told years ago that university friends are for life, but it’s actually her Churcher's friends that have been through everything with her and are now mostly 20 year friendships. The Churcher’s gang were more than happy to adopt Dan into the family, Samantha (11) and Louise (11) were bridesmaids and James (09) was Dan's groomsman. 

Not only was the wedding party full of OC’s, Hannah contacted Helen Purchase who kindly organised for a string quartet of current Churcher's students to perform at the wedding reception. Hannah said they were incredibly professional in every sense of the word, a credit to the school and all extremely talented.

Hannah and Dan spent a few days in St Ives, Cornwall immediately after the wedding before jet setting off on their honeymoon to Kenya in September. Hannah tells us it truly was a once in a lifetime trip! 

Hannah and Dan are now settling into married life back in London. Building on from her initial love of music and drama at school, Hannah is on the committee of a local AmDram and dance group. She also teaches singing to a small choral group in her spare time. We wish Hannah and Dan many, many years of happiness together and it’s been so lovely to hear her fantastic news.
