Welcome to The Winter Ball 2026!

Step into a world of Parisian glamour, sparkling lights and a little Moulin Rouge magic…

Join us for an unforgettable evening of celebration, great company and dancing as we come together for this year’s Winter Ball!

This black-tie event will begin with welcome drinks and the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones, before enjoying a delicious buffet supper. Then, as the night unfolds, The Fabulous Fug band will keep the party going with live music.

For those feeling lucky, our casino tables will add a little extra excitement to the night. And, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to raise a glass, enjoy a themed cocktail and celebrate together.

So, gather your friends, dust off your dancing shoes and prepare for an evening of joie de vivre, music, merriment and Moulin Rouge magic.

Key timings

18:30 - pre-event welcome for parents new to the school 
19:00 - arrival and welcome drinks
20:00 - buffet dinner
21:15 onwards - live band and dancing
Midnight - carriages

FAQs

Dress code

Black tie: we invite you to embrace the Moulin Rouge theme as much, or as subtly, as you wish. Think Parisian glamour, theatrical touches and plenty of sparkle... if that’s your style.

Food and drink

A delicious buffet supper will be served during the evening.

A paid bar will be available throughout the event, accepting both cash and card, with a range of soft and alcoholic drinks, including a selection of themed cocktails.

Seating

Long tables will be arranged by year group, making it easy for everyone, especially new parents, to find a seat and enjoy the evening together.

We’d really appreciate your help in sitting with the year group you select when booking. If you don’t specify a year group, you’re very welcome to join any available table.

Parking

Parking will be available on the school site in the main car park. Cars may be left overnight (at your own risk) and collected from 07:00 on the Sunday morning.
